The Capital Markets CRC hosts a world-class program for Doctoral students, Honours students and students who are exceptional high achievers. The CMCRC provides substantial scholarship support, which is funded by the CMCRC in association with industry partners. The Education Program attracts supervisors and students of the highest calibre. This cohort of exceptional research students plays a key role in the CMCRC’s development of solutions to practical problems in financial markets.

The Education Program aims to produce applied research that is academically rigorous and commercially viable. Our objective is to develop applied research, which provides positive commercial outcomes for the CMCRC and better options for the future of the students in both academic and commercial pursuits.

The CMCRC has about fifty PhD students enrolled and it is planned to increase this number to seventy-five. This is a large program by world standards.
