In Early 2011 the centre established the CMCEC (Capital Markets Continuing Education Centre) to fulfil a core CMCRC objective of providing finance education and training.

The new centre will have guest speakers sourced from all over the world and include leaders in their fields from government, industry and academia and all courses will be tailor-made. The CMCEC has been approved by the Chinese Government and is now fully qualified as a training provider. The centre has already got Chinese partners on board including the prestigious Graduate School of the People's Bank of China, the EIC Group of China and China International Travel Services.

The new centre is headed by Ms Ada Chow who has served in the business education sector in Australia and Hong Kong for a number of years.
