Founded in 2007, TrADeLab is a subsidiary entity of CMCRC that focuses on the education and training of various security trading techniques, in the wake of increased market segmentation, complexity and the practice of algorithmic trading that have reshaped the financial markets around the world.

TrADeLab has invented an on-line trading simulator that allows users to practice knowledge learned in a simulated trading environment. The trading environment mimics the trading screen of a real trader, and replays a day of real historical trading. This gives opportunity for users to experience trading in a “real” world environment and apply the techniques learned. A purposely written textbook “Trade execution, arbitrage and dealing in Australia” has been published by Pearson Education and a complete set of instructor and user manuals has also been developed.
